SETH LINTELMAN
CHEF / OWNER
Seth was born and raised on a hog farm in Fairmont, Minnesota, where he quickly developed his understanding and passion for locally grown food. His passion for food and hard work, lead him to pursue his Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from the Arts Institue International of Minnepolis. In his final semester of school, he was selected for an internship at one of Minnesota's most well known private country clubs, the Lafayette Club. Seth spent the following 12 years moving from intern to line cook, to Sous Chef. Our Story

HISTORY OF THE CUP
The café served as a local dining mainstay for Sherburn residents for more than 50 years, before closing its doors in 2011. A local business man stepped in and invested money into renovations and quietly reopened the restaurant in the fall of 2012, with the intention of awarding it to a deserving entrepreneur. With that intention in mind, an essay contest was launched with the help of Bethany Lutheran College's Business Capstone class in March 2013.
So, here we are! We (Seth and Elizabeth Lintelman) have always dreamed of owning our own restaurant and are thrilled to be named the winners of the essay contest and business plan evaluation. Together, we have more than 20 years of restaurant and management experience and we LOVE good food.
